Aylin Möckl studied molecular biology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. During her bachelor thesis in the group of Prof. Dr. Ari Waisman, she investigated the role of the Nf-κB signaling pathway in multiple sclerosis. She completed her master’s degree in molecular medicine at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. During her master thesis in the group of Dr. Lisa Sevenich, Aylin investigated the role of specific genes in the development of brain metastases for the generation of a spontaneous breast-to-brain metastasis model.
