Dr. Zhaodai Bai

Dr. Zhaodai Bai is a staff scientist. Zhao has gained his doctoral degree in Department of Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Shandong University (China). He has completed his postdoctoral study on the odorant receptor genes during differentiation of the multipotent cell lines ex vivo in Max Planck research unit for neurogenetics, Frankfurt am Main, with Peter Mombaerts, Ph.D, M.D. Zhao brings his experience in stem cell culturing and in embryo techniques. In TCF he is responsible for mES targeting and clonal cell line generation for chimera models.

Dr. Irene Tirado-Gonzalez

Irene holds a master in Integrated Quality Management for Environmental and Occupational Risk Prevention, as well as a master and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Immunology from the University of Granada (Spain), where she characterized the dendritic cells isolated from spontaneously aborted embryos. In 2008, Irene moved to Berlin and worked as a research assistant at the department of internal medicine of the Berlin Charité. She joined Dr. Medyouf’s group in February 2015 and is currently responsible for lab management and the development of improved culture conditions for primary cells obtained from patient biopsies.

Felix Kienzle

Felix is the laboratory manager for the transgenics core unit and AG Grote. He has an education as a biological technical assistant (BTA). He supports all projects with his expertise in molecular biology and is also involved in cell culture for the generation and genotyping of the new transgenic stem cells.
