Ombudsperson of GSH

The ombudsperson of the GSH is Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Plate from the Edinger Institute, Frankfurt am Main. He is directly and independently available to all GSH scientists in questions of good scientific practice and its violation through scientific dishonesty. He is independent and sees himself as an advisor and mediator. All matters brought to the attention of the ombudsperson are treated in strict confidence. Persons, institutions or management bodies that are not directly affected will not be informed by him. The guarantee of confidentiality serves to protect all persons involved in a case and remains valid even after the case has been closed. The GSH is committed to the principles formulated by the DFG to ensure good scientific practice.
