Zhaodai Bai

Dr. Zhaodai Bai is a staff scientist. Zhao has gained his doctoral degree in Department of Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Shandong University, China. He has completed his postdoctoral study on the odorant receptor genes during differentiation of the multipotent cell lines ex vivo in Max Planck research unit for neurogenetics, Frankfurt am Main, with Peter Mombaerts, Ph.D, M.D. Zhao brings his experience in stem cell culturing and in embryo techniques. In TCF Zhaobai is responsible for mES targeting and clonal cell line generation for chimera models.

Sandy Eckhardt

Sandy Eckhardt is a trained animal caretaker and joined the Transgenic Core Facility in 2019. Sandy is responsible for colony management and experimental planning in TCF. She is coordinating the project steps with TCF members and performs genotyping. Apart from that, Sandy Eckhardt carries out documentation and administrative tasks required for transgenic workflow.

Yvonne Petersen

Yvonne Petersen is a lab technician and completed her education at KIT Karlsruhe. Yvonne worked in EMBL transgenic facility in Heidelberg before she joined Georg Speyer Haus. Yvonne is specialized on all critical techniqies needed in a transgenic facility and brings her 20 years experience to the TCF.
