Anna Wolfram

Anna Wolfram completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Heidelberg. Anne specialized on the multidisciplinary process of drug design in both her bachelor’s and master’s thesis. For the former, she worked on hypoxia activated prodrugs in the Translational Therapeutics Team (ACSRC, New Zealand). For the later, Anna worked on the synthetic route of phosphaphenalene gold (I) agents – a novel anti-glioblastoma class – in the Carlos Romero-Nieto Research Group (UCLM, Spain and University of Heidelberg). As part of her doctoral research, Anna aims to unveil the mode(s) of action of phosphaphenalene gold (I) agents in the tumor microenvironment. Anna also holds a Master of Business Administration.
