Gender Equality & Diversity
Gender Equality
At the Georg-Speyer-Haus, we seek the equal participation of all genders in all departments by raising awareness among employees and decision-making bodies for a balanced gender ratio, implementing and adhering to the principles of equal treatment and a constant cycle of review and improvement. We promote the careers of female scientists individually and in cooperation with our research networks and Goethe University, e.g. through coaching and mentoring offers.
Further details can be found in our publicly accessible Gender Equality Plan.
Diversity
As a research institution, we have high ethical standards for our research and all other aspects of our work and see diversity as a interdisciplinary issue. The Georg-Speyer-Haus therefore promotes an organizational culture in which diversity is lived as a matter of course so that all employees can contribute their potential to the best of their ability. An inclusive and supportive working environment for our employees, free from discrimination, is an integral part of our organizational strategy.
By signing the Diversity Charter, we at Georg-Speyer-Haus are sending a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in our working environment and signaling our appreciation of all employees regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and ideology, sexual orientation and social background.
