Combining family and career
At Georg-Speyer-Haus, the compatibility of family and career is supported in the best possible way. Flexible working hours, family-friendly arrangements for meetings and hybrid working models offer the opportunity to balance work and private life and are an integral part of our HR policy. In cooperation with our research networks and Goethe University, we offer short-term support for employees who have family obligations such as childcare or caring for relatives. Thanks in part to the generous support of the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Georg-Speyer-Haus was able to set up a modern parent-child office. Age-appropriate children's furniture and toys for children between the ages of 1 and 8 years are available there to help reconcile work and family life, and a complete office workstation has been set up for parents.
