Julian Anthes

Julian Anthes received his Bachelor degree in Biology from the Philipps-University of Marburg. During his Bachelor thesis in the group of Prof. Dr. Jude Przyborski, he worked on the protein translocation in with Plasmodium falciparum infected red blood cells. Julian joined the AG Sevenich as a Master student in 2019 within the molecular medicine studies at the Goethe-University of Frankfurt am Main. In his thesis he analyzed effects of macrophage depletion on radio-immunotherapy in breast-to-brain metastasis. In his PhD project his main research focuses on the effect of immune-checkpoint inhibitors to improve the standard-of-care treatment to develop adjuvant therapies for brain metastases.
